“And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us” 1 John 3:23

Members and Friends of St. Paul’s,

At times the scriptures can be difficult to understand. However, this is not the case as we gather together hearing the Scriptures in worship this Sunday and Monday. In Acts 4:1-12 we see that God’s word is simple and direct when it comes to salvation. “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). 1 John 3:16-24 explicitly outlines how we are to live out the Christian life. For example, in verse 23 where we are called to believe in Christ and love others. The gospel reading (John 10:11-18) beautifully uncovers the care, power, and uniqueness of the Good Shepherd. Yes the Word of God can be difficult to understand, but not this week 😊

See you in Worship,
Pastor Krenz
