WOMEN'S MINISTRY

At our January meeting we we had 7 in attendance, but would love to see this number grow.  The Women's Ministry meets on the third Monday each month at 6:30 pm in the Bridal Room.  Please join us anytime.

We will be delivering Valentine's flowers for Memory Lane again this year.  It's such a blessing to deliver these flowers and see the happiness they bring.  If you would be interested in helping please give Donna Lake a call 314-398-4780.  The Women's Ministry donates to various groups throughout the year and this is how we raise our funds.

The Women's Ministry hosts a potluck the fourth Sunday of the month January through October.  Please join us in the Fellowship Hall after the 10:30 service.  Hope to see you there!

1 John 4:912 (NIV) This is how God showed his love among us:  He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love:  not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

LADIES LEAGUE/LWML

Our February meeting will be held on February 7, 2019 beginning at 11:30am.  Helen Nowak will lead with a devotion and prayer. After lunch, Pastor Krenz will present a topic entitled "Living with Change:  Throughout our life we encounter change, some good and some not so good."  This Bible Study will show how God's promises help us navigate change.  If you wish to join us, please bring your lunch and Helen Nowak and Jean Kirk will provide desserts later.

Our district LWML is saving Christmas card fronts to be used to decorate Christmas stocking in the fall (for the benefit of Lutheran Child and Family Services).  There's a small container on the LWML counter for card placement.  They will be picked up the second week of February!

We invite you to visit, join us, or serve with us. Call Wanda at 281-4691 if you would like more information.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever belives in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16 NIV
